Restoration Takes Time

Our home was built in 1835. When my parents bought it, not only had it survived many years if wear and tear, it had also been destroyed by a flood.

My parents worked hard, for a lot of years, to clean up the mess and rebuild what was broken. They restored it. Not to it’s original beauty, but better.

If you’re doing it right, restoration takes time.

I believe God is careful and meticulous about rebuilding the brokenness and hurt and abuse in our lives. He doesn't do a shoddy job that will last a few years. He creates in you a masterpiece that will last through eternity.
